GPU1 Voltage ~ 1.193 (with above settings) Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB SC.However no amount of increasing the power target will make +250mhz stable at all, it's like the power target slider is bugged or something, even in Precisions' graphs the power usage never goes above 100. This is my first water cooled build so I'm still getting over how crazy the GPU temps are (blocks are in a series config) : On stock voltage (power target slider is on 100) I can increase the clock by +225mhz and remain stable. The new software combines the features of PrecisionX and EVGA OC Scanner into one utility. Eventually I'll try out a custom BIOS from OCN and see if this improves. The RGB lighting effects are controlled by a new version of EVGAs PrecisionX OC software. These settings are game stable (so far) but generate the occasional artifact so I run with the GPU Clock Offset at +280 (1495MHZ Boost Clock). Temp, power, and voltage constraints will keep you from hitting the cards. Please post some of your own results I'm really curious to see how everyone's overclocking is going!įinally finished my water cooling setup it took me forever! I have my two 980 TI's on EK waterblocks and my current best OC settings are below:Ģx Nvidia Reference GTX 980 TI's = Water Cooled = Stock BIOS: He has an EVGA GTX 2080 Super FTW3 which has 3 fans and completely blocks the. I will update my results again and post some pics when I get everything on water (it's my first water build and feels like it's taking forever). I don't plan on testing the cards individually since I'm already really happy with the results and I'd rather just get to installing the water blocks. I am in the process of water cooling my rig and I'm really excited to see how far these will go with proper cooing.Īnyway, here is the farthest I've tried to push them in SLI ( values are for both GPU's and are Game/Bench stable): ![]() I picked up two reference Nvidia 980 TI's to run in SLI and they overclock better than just about any card I've owned in the past! In fact, when the cards are directly next to each other in SLI, I can't really push the top card to it's potential limits because 100% fan speed barely keeps it under 80C (trying not to run them hotter than that for very long). Sorry for starting another 980 TI thread, but I wanted to see what kinds of results everyone was getting with their cards.
